TRUK Final Demo Day & Closing Event
8 Mart 2026UK Trip: Immersion into the Global Innovation Ecosystem
London & Oxford, UK • April 2025
As a core component of the TRUK Accelerator Program, participating startups travelled to the United Kingdom for an intensive immersion designed to connect them with leading innovation ecosystems, industry experts, investors, and academic institutions. The UK trip provided founders with first-hand exposure to global markets while strengthening their understanding of sustainability-driven innovation and international collaboration.
The visit began in London with a session on the UK startup ecosystem and emerging industry trends, delivered by Digipac Consultancy at the White City Innovation District. This session offered valuable insights into market dynamics, investment landscapes, and opportunities for startups seeking international expansion.
A dedicated session on climate tech and sustainability trends, hosted by Imperial College’s Undaunted initiative, explored the latest developments in sustainable technologies and innovation. The discussion highlighted how startups can contribute to global environmental challenges while building scalable business models.
During the London leg of the visit, startups also participated in a Demo Day and Networking event at Oasis London, where they presented their solutions, exchanged ideas with ecosystem stakeholders, and built connections with potential partners and investors.
The program continued in Oxford with an immersive visit to the University of Oxford, including ecosystem discussions and panel sessions hosted at Corpus Christi College’s T.S. Eliot Theatre. These sessions provided exposure to academic-driven innovation, research commercialization, and the broader entrepreneurial environment connected to Oxford’s global reputation.
An interactive Startup Huddle session at BPIC, allowed one of the startups, Yugen, to pitch their solutions in an informal setting and receive peer feedback, encouraging open dialogue and collaborative learning.
Throughout the trip, tailored training sessions and workshops delivered by Oxentia supported startups on strategy, international growth, and market positioning. These sessions helped founders refine their approaches while preparing for global engagement beyond the accelerator.
The UK immersion experience ultimately strengthened TRUK startups’ international outlook, expanded their professional networks, and reinforced the program’s mission to bridge innovation ecosystems between Turkey, the United Kingdom, and the wider global community.
